I have over 7 years of experience in the graphic design industry. I was hired as the creative director and communication consultant at 4 Chinese restaurants. I consulted with the restaurant’s state holders and management team, conducted customer research for developing branding and identity, cooperated with interior designers, food photographers, and front-end engineers, and provided graphic design solutions. Worked as a creative director and communication consultant project lead to guide the team to deliver logos, menus, posters, websites, and other multimedia graphic designs.

I worked independently and with teams for local photo studios, artists, and designers. Conducted art direction, studio lighting, and scene design for the photo teams and model styling. As a current video production assistant at UW Continuum College, I edit incoming raw video and audio files, develop digital assets, titles, and motion graphics, as well as assist in video production and studio recording.

I am a communication scholar with a Master’s degree in Digital Media and a Bachler’s degree double major in Journalism & Public Interest Communication and Political Science. I conducted a visual discourse analysis and created a coding book for the 2019-2020 HK Protest online images.

As a multicultural communicator, I am skilled in crisis communication and accessibility design. My editorial report on US-China relations and the Chinese community was published in International Examiner.
