MISSION

Shenlan Guan is a political communication scholar passionate about researching political violence, Marxist socialist theory, and public opinion polarization. She wishes to use her study to bring peace to the survivor and prevent the next genocide and massacre.

Shenlan holds a Master’s degree from the Communication Department of University of Washington. She wants to observe, compare and contrast the impact that American multi-media makes on the world’s general will. She will expand her study from political theory to the political power relation between the state and institutions, networked media, and the audience.
